Anne M. Huarte heads the firm's Appellate and Law and Motion Department focusing her practice on civil appeals. She has represented more than 60 plaintiffs on appeal since 1991, independently handling appellate record preparation, research and writing of appellate briefs, and presenting oral appellate arguments. Prior to joining Magaña, Cathcart & McCarthy as an associate in 2002, Ms. Huarte regularly represented plaintiffs on appeal on behalf of Magaña, Cathcart & McCarthy and other well-established, illustrious Southern California trial firms such as Girardi & Keese and Robinson, Phillips & Calcagnie.
